About this event

LIKHAAN is a Calgary-based arts and culture festival celebrating the vibrant communities of Filipinx creatives in Calgary and beyond.

In the spirit of similar emergent community gatherings in Toronto and Vancouver, this collaborative project between Indioz Bravoz and Salingpusa Creatives will feature Filipinx-Canadian artists engaging in a broad range of disciplines — including literature, visual art, theatre, and music — with a particular emphasis on storytelling and the significance of the written word.
